About us as a school
Gems world academy is surely the perfect place for you as a student to learn and build a nice all-round future. The company here is nice and would help you to succeed in whatever it is that you want to succeed.
What i'm trying to doWe the students of gwa tend to be trying to make the school a better place. I will try to make some changes to the school to make it a better place by making an indoor running track if i could and make a gaming room that if students have free time they could go there.

How am i going to do itSince miss Brazil is the principal for elementary, i can ask her if she would ask the head of school mr micbride if he could make those items i chose.
AssemblyIn GWA we have assemblies that each class does every thursday and they each do one unit of inquiry for us to learn. My class last year did an assembly about world disasters. |
GWAPA
GWAPA is a voluntary committee of parents who work together with the school to make GWA the best possible environment for students. GWAPA consists of a yearly, democratically elected Executive Committee that includes a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary. Additional positions that vary from year to year include Uniform Shop Managers, Lost Property Coordinators, Sports Representative, Early Childhood, Elementary and Secondary Parent Coordinators, Cafeteria Sub-Committee, IT Coordinator and other general committee members.
|
GWAPA organizes school events for celebration such as International Day, UAE Day and Family Fun Day as well as other special events for charity. They also assist parents by liaising with the school on areas that the community feels may need improvment. For issues regarding curriculum or staff, you are encouraged to speak to your child’s teacher first and then the division Principal afterwards if questions still remain.
All parents are automatically part of GWAPA, so join in and help us in any of our many activities that brighten up our school year! |
